Man Sau Gwoon

A Social Site for all Man Sau Gwoon members to meet

to respect others you must respect yourself

Over the last month or so i have noticed that students show up to class in Jeans , Hoodies , Street shoes Baseball caps etc.

When I started Training Ving Chun in the late 80s there was a certain Dress code ; with Shirt, black trousers and soft shoes. The appearance was tidy and no bad body odours.

I think it is a matter of respect towards our Sifu, who shares his great knowledge with us, and the other Students as well. And it is not to much to ask to show up in a white shirt and black trousers and soft shoes.

When we signed up with Man Sau Gwoon every one of us did get a note which stated the Code of Conduct.

So i just ask you to stick to that and show your Sifu and fellow Students the respect that they deserve.

Thanks for that
Sihing Steffen

I certainly agree with this sentiment.
I have mentioned the dress code in the past to various people [to remind them of the fact that there is indeed one], but don't believe anybody has taken it seriously enough.

My 2c worth of thought.
